TaxServe 

Professional Tax Billing and Collection Software for the Tax Assessor / Collector

TaxServe is a new product developed by Copperfield Systems, Inc. to focus at the tasks required by Tax Assessors / Collectors to collect tax valuations from multiple Central Appraisal Districts (CAD), assigning tax rate information, creating tax statements, collect payments, and supply detailed and summary reporting for the entire process.

TaxServe is designed using the latest Visual Studio 2005 development tools offered by Microsoft, supporting the most current technologies available from Microsoft.

The product's data storage uses the recently released Microsoft SQL Server 2005 database. This allows the application to support a broad range of clients, from the small Tax Assessor / Collector using the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition to the very largest of Tax Assessor / Collector companies using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition. The performance and capacity of TaxServe scales with the power and size of the database hardware platform and the SQL Server 2005 products. TaxServe supports the freely distributed SQL Server 2005 Express Edition, allowing the independent Tax Assessor / Collector or very small companies an inexpensive solution, yet also fully support migrating the data to the larger and more capable SQL Server 2005 full-server offerings without any changes to the TaxServe product. TaxServe is currently in the beta stage, and is projected to have a release date early in the second quarter of 2006.
